Neuromodulation for Pain: What is it & Who to Refer?

Overview: This event will address medical and interventional management of neuropathic pain, followed by an overview of neuromodulation and patient experiences with spinal cord stimulation. Light refreshments will be provided.  
 
Learning Objectives: 
1.    Review non-interventional and interventional therapy options for neuropathic pain
2.    Identify patients with the proper indications for spinal cord stimulation referral
3.    Explain the mechanism of action of spinal cord stimulation and recall the SCS technology
4.    Recognize the therapeutic impact of SCS for chronic pain patients
5.    Inform participants of the referral and assessment process
