I was born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, and completed my medical education at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Alexandria. After moving to Canada, I finished my psychiatry residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax in 2017.
Since 2018, I have been a psychiatrist at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville, where I have served as Site Lead for Psychiatry since 2021. I am also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Dalhousie University.
I have embraced the Valley life, making it a home with my wife, two daughters, and son. I look forward to representing my psychiatry colleagues at the zonal level.
