Francis Balogun is a family physician with several years of clinical experience in both primary care and acute care settings. He completed his medical education at the College of Medicine, University of Benin, Nigeria, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), followed by internship and residency training in family medicine at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
Dr. Balogun relocated to Shelburne, Nova Scotia, in March 2024 with his wife and two daughters and currently practices full-scope family medicine across community, hospital and long-term care settings. He serves as Chief Medical Director of Roseway Manor Nursing Home in Shelburne and Surf Lodge Nursing Home in Lockeport. He is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred and collaborative care to the communities he serves.
