Dr. Tanya Munroe is the Co-Leader of the Access and Flow Network and Care Coordination Centre (C3), in Co-Leadership with Lynn Edwards and Andrea Meunster respectively.
Dr. Munroe is a Family and Emergency Physician with over a decade of medical leadership experience. Dr. Munroe completed her MD and residency in Family Medicine at Dalhousie University and continues to teach emergency medicine to residents and clerks. She has worked in progressive leadership roles across Nova Scotia Health, acting as an Interim Zone Medical Executive Director from 2019-2020 as well as the Head Department of Emergency Medicine from 2016-2022 for Northern Zone.
She continues to serve as the Medical Site lead at Colchester East Hants Health (CEHHC). With a strong reputation for promoting change and helping develop physicians for the future, Dr. Munroe is an engaged and present leader. Dr. Munroe lives in Truro with her husband. They have three sons.
