Dr. Rodney McGory is a general surgeon with fellowships in general surgery and thoracic surgery. He is a certified Canadian Physician Executive. He comes to us from the Eastern Zone where he has been the Surgical Site Chief at Cape Breton Hospital as well as the Chief of General Surgery at Cape Breton Regional Hospital. He is also a former VP or Medicine at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Dr. McGory works closely with Jill Flinn, Executive Health Services Director for the QEII and Kitty Connell, HI Site Lead and Director C3.
Dr. McGory hails from St. Johns Newfoundland and originally studied physiotherapy at Dalhousie University before becoming a surgeon.
