Dr. James Clarke is the Chief of Diagnostic Imaging in the Central Zone. 

Born in Ottawa, Ontario, Dr. Clarke earned his undergraduate degree in engineering physics at Queens University. He later pursued his master's degree in materials engineering at McMaster University before relocating to Nova Scotia to pursue medical school and residency in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine at Dalhousie University. Dr. Clarke also obtained a certificate in medical education from the University of Dundee in Scotland. He further enhanced his expertise by completing a one-year cardiac MRI fellowship at the University of Calgary. 

Dr. Clarke finds great satisfaction in applying his expertise in system-level planning to fulfill the individual needs of patients. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time at the cottage with his wife, two children, and their golden retriever.
