Dr. Chad Robertson is the Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Central Zone. He is also an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Sciences at Dalhousie University. He is the Chief Examiner in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Past President of the Canadian Association of Oral snd Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Born in Sault St. Marie, Ontario, Dr. Robertson earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Western University then completed Medicine and a Master of Science in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Dalhousie University. Furthering his expertise, he completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Robertson is grateful for the opportunity to lead a department filled with devoted surgeons, fellows, residents, and staff who collaborate harmoniously to deliver the highest quality Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery care possible. Witnessing the positive impact this care has on patients brings him tremendous satisfaction. When he is not working, Dr. Robertson enjoys cycling, playing hockey, and spending time with his wife and three children.
