DESCRIPTION:Nova Scotia Health and Doctors Nova Scotia are pleased to annou
 nce the launch of the Quality Improvement (QI) Rounds by physicians for ph
 ysicians. The topics for the upcoming seminars will include:\n\n\nSepsis\n
 Acute Exacerbations of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease\nHeart Failur
 e\nPneumonia\nLevels of Intervention\nUrinary Tract Infection\n\n\nThe ses
 sions are targeted towards all physicians who provide inpatient and Emerge
 ncy Department care. Each session will run for an hour followed by 30 minu
 tes of questions and discussion. All sessions will be recorded and availab
 le for download on the Doctors Nova Scotia portal.\n\nThink Fast\, Act Fas

 rah McMullen\, Critical Care Physician\, will provide a presentation cover
 ing sepsis care quality improvement. Objectives of this presentation inclu
 de:\n\n\nlearn about any new evidence based updates in sepsis care\nrecogn
 ize that sepsis/septic shock are medical emergencies that require prompt a
 ttention\n\n\nEarn 1.5 CME Credits\n\nThis one-credit-per-hour Group Learn
 ing program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Phys
 icians of Canada and has been certified by the Continuing Professional Dev
 elopment Office of Dalhousie University for up to 1.5 Mainpro+ credits.\n\
