The Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services Network (DTSN) is a multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder team. It integrates the diverse expertise and perspective of clinicians, patients and community members, scientific leads, data analytics support and research, innovation and discovery to design and recommend strategy and improvement plans that drive the achievement of targeted, measurable, and sustainable clinical and operational improvements in health care service delivery.
DTSN has a provincial scope and mandate related to Diagnostic Imaging, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Pharmacy Services and a shared focus aimed at improving the experience and outcomes for patients and their journey through the health care system.
All networks take a strategic provincial approach to align services initiatives and planning across zones, provincial programs and system partners as appropriate to ensure consistency, coordination, quality, efficiency and system sustainability.
